About the Legacy Fund
Mikey Costello was a fearless skier as well as a talented clinician, knowledgeable and patient. He loved teaching and encouraging others to choose the same path. Though reticent at first about joining PSIA, he soon realized the benefits and did not want to be just a member, he wanted to be an active participant in the future of PSIA. Since being selected to the PSIA-W Education staff in 2004, he has shared his love of skiing. As an examiner his favorite exams were the Level 1, where the bright shiny new faces of our profession were beginning their journey with similar love & enthusiasm.

Mikey was well aware of the financial burden of choosing to teach skiing for a living. With this in mind, to honor Michael and his love for skiing and teaching, we have established the Michael Costello Legacy Fund. Our goal is to offer independent scholarship opportunities to those enthusiastic and eager PSIA-AASI instructors looking to take the next step.
